I-BUS and Channel Access Announce Agreement for High Availability Computer Systems

I-Bus Corporation (San Jose, CA) and Channel Access, LLC (Los Gatos, CA) have agreed to jointly market the I-Bus Continuon™ family of High Availability computer systems.

"The I-Bus Continuon™ family blade server product introduces the industry's smallest footprint 16 blade dual fabric switch system with a N+1 redundant AC or DC power subsystem and a patented dual isolated hot-swap power input modules." said I-Bus President & CEO Johni Chan. "It is the most comprehensive, application ready platform compliant to PICMG 2.16 and PICMG 2.9 standards with integrated system management to provide ease of service and management for systems consisting of heterogeneous types blades. With 11 patent applications filed and 7 patents pending, the I-BUS Continuon™ family product is the stepping stone to I-Bus next generation Infini-Availability™ blade server platforms."

Channel Access will focus its resources on developing customers and applications that take full advantage of the I-Bus technology. As a North American distributor for I-Bus, Channel Access will bring these products to market both as board level solutions and integrated into Application Ready Platforms.
