I-Bus continues to lead the CompactPCI market with the patented Fail-Safe OptiCool™ method of push-mix-pull cooling.

Fail-Safe Opticool incorporates a unique lower hot-swap fan array that takes advantage of the axial direction of the fans to most efficiently pressurize the air at the bottom of the chassis. The unique mixing tray can be tuned to mix the intake air, redirect the air upward and distribute the air to where it is needed most, even in the event of a single fan failure.

To direct the air through the cards, drives and power supplies, three individually hot-swap blowers pull the low pressure air upward and direct it toward the rear of the chassis.
