Introduces SolarRay

I-Bus
Corp.
announces today the introduction of the SolarRay 64-bit Dual Xeon
Single Board
Computer. The SolarRay is optimized for high-speed processing,
supporting
processors of 3.4GHz and above.

computing power"
Like all I-Bus Single Board Computer products, the SolarRay is based on
the
standard PCI architecture, for use in passive backplanes, meeting all
of the
PICMG (PCI Industrial Manufacturers Group) requirements.
The
SolarRay
Incorporates the following feature set:
- Four
Double Data Rate (DDR) DIMM sockets for up to 8
GBytes of 200/266MHz DDR2 SDRAM with two 64-bit DDR channels.
- Intel's
E7501 chipsets with ICH3-S /P64H2 and support for 533/400MHz
front side bus speeds.
- Dual Gigabit Ethernet
with dual LED
indicators and compliant with IEEE802.3, IEEE802.3u, IEEE803.3x,
IEEE802.3y,
IEEE802.3ab, WfM 2.0, and PC2001.
- ATI Rage
XLGraphics
controller with 8MB frame buffer memory.
- EIDE, two
SATA, four USB 2.0, and AC’97 2.3 Audio.
- 5.25"/3.5"
floppy drive controller.
- Two
serial ports with 2x16C550 UARTs, and 4 high driving
GPIO.
- System
monitoring, Watchdog Timer, and Solid State Disk
support.
The
SolarRay supports a
variety of operating systems, including DOS/Windows, Windows 95/98/NT,
Windows
2000/2003, Windows XP and LINUX.
