Introduces WhitetipRay

I-Bus
Corp.
announces today the introduction of the WhitetipRay Single Board
Computer,
supporting the Intel® Pentium 4 or Celeron processor with the Hyper
Threading™
capability. The WhitetipRay is optimized for high-speed processing,
supporting
processors of 3.4GHz and above.

select low cost Intel 865 Integrated Extreme Graphics 2.0 or the ATI
Mobility
M10 graphics controller with 64MB display for incredible visual
quality, smooth
video playback, and support for key 3D features" said Johni Chan,
President
and CEO of I-Bus Corporation. "The outstanding architecture allows the
board
to be high performance, highly reliable and low cost with the Intel
integrated
graphics controller which is ideal for the Broadcasting Market."
Like all I-Bus Single Board Computer products, the WhitetipRay is based
on the
standard PCI architecture, for use in passive backplanes, meeting all
of the
PICMG (PCI Industrial Manufacturers Group) requirements.
The
WhitetipRay
Incorporates the following feature set:
- Two
Double Data Rate (DDR) 184-pin DIMM sockets for up to
2 GBytes of 400/333/266MHz DDR2 SDRAM.
- 256/512K
cache on the CPU module.
- Intel's
865 & ICH5 chipset with support for 800/533/400MHz
front side bus speeds.
- Gigabit Ethernet
controllers with
dual LED indicators and CSA connect.
- ATI
Mobility M10 graphics controller with 64MB display
memory and TMDS & LVDS interface, Dual View support, and TV out.
- EIDE, two
SATA, four USB 2.0, one IrDA ports, and 8 high
driving GPIO.
- 5.25"/3.5"
floppy drive controller.
- Two
serial ports (RS232 and RS232/422/485), one parallel, Audio,
and PS/2 keyboard and mouse connections plus external keyboard header.
- System
monitoring, Watchdog Timer, and Solid State Disk
support.
The
WhitetipRay supports a
variety of operating systems, including DOS/Windows, Windows 95/98/NT,
Windows
2000/2003, Windows XP and LINUX.
