Introduces SandRay

I-Bus
Corp.
announces today the introduction of the SandRay PICMG 1.3 Single Board
Computer, supporting the Intel® Core 2 Duo Pentium 4, Pentium D, or
Celeron D processor
in the LGA-775 package. The SandRay is optimized for high-speed
processing,
supporting processors of 3.4GHz and above.

Gaming,
Imaging and Broadcasting applications" said Johni Chan, President and

of I-Bus. "The outstanding architecture of this SBC allows the board to
be
high performance. High reliability, excellent video performance and
connectivity"
Like all I-Bus Single Board Computer products, the SandRay is based on
the
standard PCI architecture, for use in passive backplanes, meeting all
of the
PICMG (PCI Industrial Manufacturers Group) requirements.
The
SandRay
Incorporates the following feature set:
- Four
Double Data Rate (DDR) 240-pin DIMM sockets for up to
4 GBytes of 800/667/533MHz DDR2 SDRAM.
- Intel's
Q965 and ICH8R chipset with support for 1066/800/533MHz
front side bus speeds.
- Dual
Gigabit Ethernet
controllers with
dual LED indicators and PCI Express x1 interface based Gigabit Ethernet.
- Intel
GMCH Integrated Graphics Media Accelerator 3000 with
Dynamic share system memory up to 256MB.
- Six SATA
(dual SATA port via backplane), Ten USB 2.0 (2
dedicated to mouse/keyboard and 2 via backplane), and HDA interface
2-channel
Audio.
- Two
serial ports (RS232 and RS232/422/485), one IrDA
ports, and one FDD channel.
- System
monitoring, Watchdog Timer, and Solid State Disk
support.
The
SandRay supports a
variety of operating systems, including DOS/Windows, Windows 95/98/NT,
Windows
2000/2003, Windows XP and LINUX.
